Under many points of view he's only a loser, he always fails to pursue his aim, but on the other side he never stops to learn, from himself (and he states it's the most important thing), from his experiences and from the others. Because of his personality disorders he usually ends up in being considered as a fool, which isn't completely incorrect, but this definition lowers his deep drama and his significant aims. Dreaming for a miracle is something "normal", although his one true wish is something pretty negative (his complete annihilation).
And speaking about a general view I think it's pretty cool seeing his development as character from his youth to his adult and most reflexive condition.
Archer definetly needs more appreciation for what he truly is and not because he's cool or good looking (I strongly dislikes those fan who're only loving him because he's a bishounen or because he seems powerful...I mean would you really marry a man like him??!!) Let's stop the babbling and let's go on with the fansite!
Memento
A name for many reasons
Also in this case the explanation is pretty long and somehow boring. I've chosen this name (oh well it would have been too sad taking something like UBW or Bone of the Sword or such..) because it sounded somehow interesting and suitable to Archer.I wanted to name this site memento audere semper which has a very deep and beautiful meaning (remember to dare always) but it was too long so I've chosen to abbreviate it and simply take memento, which is the latin word for remember. This is a very interesting fact since it could also lead to the expression memento mori that means remember you must die or simply remember death, something that really fits Archer's main aim or well death.
